About the Role:

We are looking for a skilled and customer-focused Desktop Support Engineer to provide technical assistance and support to end-users across the organization. The ideal candidate will troubleshoot hardware and software issues, install and configure systems, and ensure the smooth running of IT equipment and networks.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide first-level technical support to users via in-person, phone, or remote assistance.

  • Install, configure, and maintain desktops, laptops, printers, and other peripherals.

  • Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network-related issues.

  • Set up user accounts, permissions, and passwords in compliance with IT policies.

  • Manage and support operating systems (Windows/macOS/Linux) and business applications.

  • Coordinate with vendors for hardware repairs and replacements.

  • Maintain IT asset inventory and documentation of support activities.

  • Ensure timely resolution of tickets and maintain service level agreements (SLAs).

  • Assist in the rollout of new applications or updates.

  • Provide support during system upgrades, installations, and maintenance tasks.

  • Any other responsibilities as deemed fit by management.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

  • 1–3 years of experience in a desktop support or IT helpdesk role.

  • Strong knowledge of Windows/Mac OS, networking basics, and Microsoft Office tools.

  • Experience with remote desktop tools and helpdesk software.

  • Good understanding of computer systems, mobile devices, and other tech products.

  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and customer service skills.

  • Ability to multitask and manage time efficiently.
